ASSESSMENT OF NEEDS
Some clients have a clear picture of what problems they face and need solved and what training or management programs they want. More often, they welcome a site visit from an ITAP Field Assessment Team that analyzes operations and then makes recommendations-anything from minor organizational readjustments to a comprehensive for office and plant managers
UNIVERSITY SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS: AT HOME OR IN THE USA
The theoretical bases and policy directions for efficient, successful business and entrepreneurship have been studied for many years at the Columbia University School of Business, Law, and International and Public Affairs. ITAP combines these resources into a single, practical training program, tailored to the client's individual needs and schedule. Programs are conducted at the client's site or at Columbia University in New York City. (We also offer an introductory overview course in the "The Institution and Processes of the Free-Market System", as well as intensive workshops in marketing, personnel management, and finance.)

Successful businessmen know that theory must be transformed into action, with all the details, shortcuts and innovative techniques that successful operating managers have developed. ITAP enjoys the collaboration of major companies and agencies, such as the New York Stock Exchange, Exxon, Monsanto, Citibank and other enterprises. ITAP arrange visits for clients to plants and offices in the USA so they can observe, asking questions and discuss issues with working managers.
POST-PROGRAM SERVICES
Upon request, at the close of a training program, ITAP will send an implementation team back to the client company, to supervise the beginning of restructuring or other changes-or to organize on-site supplementary training.
In brief:
1. ITAP will visit the foreign client to meet with management, analyze operations and recommend an appropriate executive training program.
2. ITAP will conduct on-site courses and/or bring executives to New York for Columbia University Seminars and Workshops and direct field observation.
3. ITAP can return to site to help apply new ideas and techniques and/or conduct supplemental training.
